Exhibitions
Displays feature traditional arts, crafts, folk art,
cuisine, religion, costumes & ceremonial dress, a
kyakuma
or Japanese formal room, seasonal displays, special
events, and hands-on traditional toys. Admission is
free.

Exchange Program
A myriad of exchanges take place crisscrossing the
Pacific. Some examples are weekend homestays, Japanese
and American Friendship dolls,
nengajo
or New Year postcards, thousands of heartfelt examples
of artwork, scrapbooks, letters, and pen pals.
